Whit’s End
STUCK
My encouragement today is to truly get right with God by putting your whole trust in His grace. That grace will lift you up, should you fall and get stuck in a mixture of sin and evil desires. Don’t let the world hold you down and “cement” your soul. Embrace the Lord who invites you NOW and let Him deliver you.
Marks
May we have the marks of discipleship today, and may others spot us and know exactly who and whose we are through our obedience!
Almost There
So you see, you’re almost there, Christian…when you see that your struggle is redemptive. Suffering is an invitation to welcome God into your moment, your affliction, your situation. Glory in your suffering, you’re almost there.
Together
When you come to church the next time, don’t rush off. Breathe a little; take it in. Listen to the conversations around you or gaze at the cross and contemplate God’s amazing love for you. Meeting together is about so much more than just your brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s about Christ Himself.
Good Tea
I really do know, now, that the tea is good. But that started with someone willing to share. Go…share today…tell someone else about this Jesus. Tell them about the “good tea”. Tell them about the good news.
Sunday Sermons — Foolish Wisdom
May we today make central the foolishness of God, the glory of the cross, and worship the One who was nailed upon it…nailed upon it for you, for me; for the wise, for the foolish.
Sermon – Christ, the Center
We are here to preach the gospel. If we try to improve on that then we are working above our pay grade. We were called according to HIS purpose if we are lovers of God (Romans 8.28), therefore let us keep Christ as the center and preach His good news to the world.
Pivot
Jesus really does save, but we have to pivot—reversing our course by pivoting and connecting to God through Christ properly. Only then will we hear the Beeeeeeeeeeeeep! when life pushes our button and we know it’s all good.
New Year, Same Jesus
I want to encourage you today that 2026 is nothing but a new year, but that Jesus is the same wonderful, graceful, merciful, powerful, saving God yesterday, today, and forever. Trust Him, the Constant, and know that if you have Jesus you have all you need.
